Recital and Pasta Dinner

Joint San Diego and Polomar Chapters event.

Here’s a wonderful opportunity to get to meet members of our chapter in Northern San Diego County and join together for a recital and pasta dinner. A motor coach will be available for those member of either chapter who don’t wish to make a long drive.

We are asking 8 member organists to play one piece ( each ) selected from the theme " POPS" preludes-offertories-postludes. Please choose one piece or two short ones that will not take more than 5 minutes in total. No need for major organ works, the musical attire is casual! Those organists who wish to "get on the bench " please contact Howard McCullough ( howmcc@aol.com or 858-208-9515 ) to get on the list and to arrange a time to prepare and practice on the organ. The instrument is a Rodgers Masterpiece three manual console married to 18 ranks of an existing pipe organ.

At approximately 5:30, we will adjourn and head over to the nearby Mimi’s Restaurant in Santee Town Center, 9812 Mission Gorge Road, Santee, CA 92071 (Right where the trolley line terminates). Plan on gathering at 6 PM for dinner. Please RSVP to Howard McCullough in order to set aside appropriate eating area.
